Program Expectations

Rehearsal Time
Schools provide consistent rehearsal time within the weekly schedule to ensure student success and program impact.

Rehearsal Space
A spacious, obstacle-free room (e.g., multipurpose room, gym, or large classroom) is required for safe movement and choreography.

Program Lead
A designated liaison, alongside the Principal or organization leader, is essential to the program’s success. This individual will:

  • Facilitate student sign-ups and auditions

  • Manage contracts and paperwork

  • Be present or available during rehearsals

  • Support performance logistics

Attendance
Consistent attendance is vital. Students are expected to attend all rehearsals; absences must be communicated in advance to the EAC teaching artist. Excessive absences may impact performance eligibility.
