Who we are
Julianne and Farlanda are the founders and soul behind the Expressive Arts Collective. As nationally recognized music educators, choreographers, and mentors, they bring decades of combined experience and a shared passion for inspiring the next generation of performers.
Their commitment goes beyond teaching notes and choreography—they nurture creativity, confidence, and community in every student they work with. Whether on the stage, in the classroom, or rehearsals Julianne and Farlanda create spaces where youth grow not only as musicians, but as empowered individuals and compassionate leaders.
With their guidance, the EAC is more than a music program—it’s a movement. A movement to uplift young voices, celebrate cultural diversity, and ensure that world-class music education is accessible.
Our approach
At the Expressive Arts Collective, we believe that music is a universal language that transcends boundaries and brings people together. We aim to provide each student with a well-rounded musical education that nurtures their creativity, teamwork, and cultural understanding. Our instructors are seasoned professionals with a passion for education and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive.
Whether students are looking to pursue music professionally or simply deepen their love of the arts, the EAC offers a platform for them to develop their skills, expand their musical knowledge, and become lifelong ambassadors for the power of music.
